Privacy

A plain account of what Worth Importing collects when you visit this site, and what it doesn’t.

§ What we collect

We collect basic, non-identifying request information so we can understand which finds are useful: the page you visited, the page you came from, a coarse device and browser hint, and an approximate country derived from your IP. We do not attempt to identify you as a person.

When you click an outbound link to a shop, marketplace, or source page, we record the click on our own server alongside the find it came from. This lets us see which objects readers find genuinely useful, and which finds should stay on the list.

If you submit the request form or sign up for the newsletter, we keep the email address and message you provide so we can reply or send the newsletter. That is the only deliberately personal information we hold.

§ What we don’t do

We do not sell personal information. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not build behavioural profiles for resale.

Outbound links may set their own cookies once you arrive on the destination site — that is the destination’s decision, not ours. Worth Importing does not control what shops or marketplaces do after you leave.

§ Questions or requests

If you want a copy of what we hold about you, or want it removed, write to us at the address on the contact page. For specifics on commercial relationships and outbound links, see the affiliate disclosure.
